The new features for notes are so helpful here when a client calls I can open their case and put phone conversations and print the notes for the attorney. I like the fact that I can print a report halfway through the month that allows me to see where I am with my monthly billing and productivity and it allows me to print case history which is helpful when I have to prepare an Attorney Fee Affidavit. I like that I can print the transcript to keep for future use should I run into the same problem and forgot what I had done the first time.

No matter how big or how small my problems are they are very professional and knowledgeable. I find it very helpful in having live chat and the tutorials available to access at any time I need them. I am thankful for the availability of being able to communicate with the support team about any immediate issues or problems I may be having. I like having access to the support team at anytime I needed them. I enjoy the fact that I can print reports for different cost.

My overall experience with this software is the new features and changes to the software that helps me to be more efficient in my job. I have no relation to Bill4Time I'm just a very happy customer preaching its benefits as the practice of law evolves. BTW- It has a very decent iOS app to boot (a proper app mind you not browser based).

This costs me less per year that what such a program would cost, back-ups are taken care of, I can access from anywhere, and I don't have to cough up a pretty penny every five years to upgrade a server or the program.

I absolutely needed a billing platform, and I did not have the money to pay close to $10k in a server, "traditional software" (I grew up on one of the main legal billing programs out there) and IT setup. My clients are mostly multi-national insurance companies that require I submit bills with ABA task and activity codes. To put my review into context, after 25 years I opened my own law firm.

It has also let our team work remotely during the pandemic while having full access to our billing platform (my billing admin continues to work with us even though she moved out of state!).

Being cloud-based, I able to start working on getting my billing up to date within 48 hours of being hit by a CAT-5 hurricane. If you have to follow billing guidelines that require a separate entry for every discreet task, the "batch" entry feature CANNOT be beat. In other words, an “Opened” label guarantees that the e-mail was in fact opened, but the absence of an “Opened” label does not necessarily mean the e-mail was not opened. It is cloud-based, super user friendly (everyone's learning curve has been quite small), supports electronic billing, and gets the job done effectively and efficiently. However, if your customer’s e-mail client does not load images automatically (which some do not), Bill4Time will not be able to tell if the Invoice has been opened or not. We can tell when an e-mail is opened because of a tiny invisible image that is included in the e-mail when the image is loaded, Bill4Time is notified.

Tracking e-mail open data is completed using an image technique that is not 100% reliable. Simply hover over the icon to view the Email History popup for the invoice. Opened: This status indicates the email was successfully delivered and was viewed by the recipient.Īnother way to access this feature is by the invoice email icon via Invoicing in your navigation bar.The recipient may not have seen this email, as some inboxes automatically filter spam. Marked Spam: This status indicates the recipient address registers a spam complaint for the email sent.Delayed: This status indicates that the mail system attempted to deliver the email, but was unsuccessful and will try again soon.Rejected : This status indicates the recipient’s address is no longer valid, may be having temporary issues, or does not wish to receive these emails.Sent: This status indicates that an email was sent out of the program successfully.Charges by payment processors can often be difficult to discern because of various extra fees charged or bracketed rates. The processing fee for e-payments is 5 per e-check and a flat 2.8 pricing on all credit cards, regardless of card types. There are a 5 possible statuses, and these are: Bill4Time subscribers pay no additional subscription cost or membership fee for the payments feature. Once generated, the report includes a column on the right-hand side that indicates the Sent Status of the email. To access this feature, you’ll want to run the Invoice Email report, which is found under Reports on the navigation bar, then the Accounting Tab in Reports. You can tell exactly when your client has opened their invoices, leaving you better prepared should you need to follow up on an outstanding bill. With Bill4Time’s email tracking feature, whenever an email is opened, clicked upon, or failed to deliver – you’ll know.
